Host A Hospitality Event At Context!

updated April 26, 2012

There are several options for hosting an event at Context:

Room Party - the hosts reserve a suite at their own expense and provide their own food and beverage. We can assist the hosts with purchasing food through the hotel if they would like.

Consuite - Anyone may sponsor a food event in the Context Consuite and details will be made with the consuite staff. They can either purchase their own food/beverage or they can purchase from the hotel.

Function Room Party - this will be arranged with our hotel liaison and programming who will schedule the use of one or more of the meeting rooms for party use. All food and beverage must be provided/purchased through the hotel. Small items such as munchies and soft drinks may be provided by the person having the party. We can also schedule an event during the regular panel hours.

Here's the information we'll need from every prospective party host:

  • - The type of function you want
  • - Who is responsible?
  • - The date and an approx. time for the function
  • - If we will be ordering the food, we will need to have payment received from hosts before the event. We will also need to have a deposit for cleaning.

If you would like to host an event, please send your requests with the above information to our hotel liaison Abby Janota at hotel@contextsf.org. Once she receives your request, she will work out the details with you and either Programming or the Consuite departments.
